CITB SSSTS Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme Course Trafford Park

This is a two day course specifically for those who are about to take on supervisory responsibilities or those who currently work as site supervisors.

The course provides an introduction to health and safety, welfare and environmental issues for those requiring an understanding of their legal responsibilities relevant to their work activities.

Duration 2 Days 

Content Course:

• Understand the problems of the industry
• Understanding how health and safety law is structured
• Identify hoe their supervisory role fits in with the manager in controlling site safety
• Carry out risk assessments and understand the need for method statements
• Carry out site inductions, toolbox talks and method statement briefings
• Understand what is meant by proactive and reactive monitoring and appreciate their needs

Certification

Successful candidates will receive an accredited CITB SSSTS Certificate, valid for 5 years.
