Variable shift patterns
30 hours per week (overtime available)

Duties and responsibilities:
Dispatchers are responsible to deliver world class customer service to ensure a seamless journey for our customers.
To consistently deliver the highest customer standards
Responsible for a safe, secure and effective turnaround from arrival to departure to include but not limited to safety, ramp operation, colleagues and third party suppliers
Responsible for coordinating the safe loading and unloading of the aircraft
Responsible for ensuring our product is delivered consistently to demanding service level agreements and on time departure targets
Ensure compliance in both airline and airport policies
Maintain a safe working environment at all times

Skills and Experience:
Previous experience within a turnaround coordinator/Dispatch/Ground Handling Role
Excellent communication skills at all levels
Have a calm, friendly and professional manor
Experience of supervising a number of teams

Excellent organisation skills and methodology
Ability to quickly and accurately react and assess any given situation and instigate corrective action
Work well within a team
Be able to work various shift patterns
Be able to pass a medical
Hold a full driving licence

Hours of work: 30 hours per week plus overtime available

Requirements:

Due to the location of work being at Gatwick Airport you must be able to provide the following:5-year check-able work history, this does not need to be all UK experience, you also do not need to have been employed for a continuous 5 years we just need to verify whatever it is that you have been doing, this can cover unemployment periods, school etc. You must be able to provide valid photographic ID and willing to undertake a criminal record check
